⚠️ Live Traffic Updates Disclaimer (WHERE APPLICABLE)
Live traffic alerts on this sat nav are provided via the Regional Traffic Message Channel (TMC) and are independent of the map files, so map updates do not affect traffic alert accuracy. Unlike Google Maps, which collects real‑time data from millions of users, this system relies on regional traffic feeds — meaning occasional false alerts can occur, especially in rural areas or where temporary works are scheduled but not visible on the ground.
*Live traffic is included in the one-off purchase price, not as a paid subscription like some other brands. The devices connect to the national Traffic Message Channel used in each country (including the UK) to receive traffic data. I do not run or control these servers and have no access to their infrastructure. If the service is interrupted, changed, or discontinued by the provider, I have no way to influence that. That is exactly why I do not charge a subscription for this feature. I cannot guarantee unlimited availability or uptime, as it depends on third-party networks, and the service could be discontinued at any time without prior notice.
